If the appraisal clause is invoked:
- Contact & negotiate with your insurance company’s appraiser
- Dispute poor comparables (one favorite trick that opposing appraisers like to use is comparables from “rust belt” states. These vehicles can be worth up to 40% less than vehicles from non rust belt states
- Negotiate a fair settlement amount
- If necessary, approve a fair & unbiased umpire appraiser as per the appraisal clause
If your final settlement after using my services is not at least $500 higher than your offer from your insurance company, I will refund your $500!
